Home Pus

Please take a look at the neon sign on the far right. When I was about to take this photo, I intuitively knew 'pus' would mean something. And later by looking it up in a dictionary, finally found its meaning: a thick yellowish liquid that forms in wounds when they are infected. 'Homep us'... This home must have a pain or a problem.:)

FYI, Samsung Tesco Homeplus is a Joint Venture between Samsung Corp and Tesco.

I assumed the "l" in p us was missing so the sign should say home plus...guess I was wrong.

Looks like someone needs to change the lights on the "L" ... :-D

oh! I've shopped at Tesco... so maybe the 'L' was dropped as a warning of the produce ha!
I have not had time to look around here yet but I will make the time tonight.. I like your 'Pizza' on your other blog, it sounds very tasty.

I immediately thought of "sourpuss" -- a grouchy person. In any case you make a good observation."

The missing L cought my attention before I read you explanation. I'll bet they fix this quickly given it has such a gross meaning.

Neva - You were very right!

Dalicia - Homeplus is rather like Walmart.

BW - I'm not sure whether people at Homeplus knew about this "infection" but it must have had "l" back soon.

KMF - Thank you!

OWT - Thank you for your visit and WELCOME!

Steve - And you are good at association of ideas.

Denton - Yes, it sounds gross.;)

AhAH! You need to send them a link to your post so that they replace the orphan light!

If it had another S at the end, home puss sounds quite cute.

It was strange to go shopping in Tesco in Korea, it was a bit like shopping at a Tesco back in England!

It's really interesting to know. Because here in my city São Paulo, Samsung had a giant plasma television display in Avenida 23 de maio (23 may Avenue) that was needing fixing too, some lights were off. This was disgusting.
