Meeting Point

'Giordano' in Kangnam is one of meeting points in that area. During the whole week, this spot is always crowded and busy. Where is the meeting point in your town?

For the young...it seems to be Starbucks but at night...the 20somethings go to the city(of chicago) night life at different bars( I know this as I have a 24 y/o son who does just that!)

Am I in right if I suspect that "Giordano" is an Italian name? Who is her / him? A designer, a fashionist?

Our Main Street has been revitalised into a series of destination points ... coffee shops, bars, and restaurants ... As a society we want to encourage desitiation points (meeting places) and encourage everyone having a good time. However, we don't want to encourage large gatherings in parking lots with loud music, underage drinking, and potential gang activity. It is a fine line ... have fun and be responsible.

Thank you all for sharing your information and opinions.

Fabrizio - You're right. But, the founder of this Hong Kong based brand took its name from an Italian restaurant in the US where he visited on his trip. In addition, it is said the restaurant was named after an Italian actor.
