Sale

Have you queued up for sale? Last Saturday I was in line above and bought two pairs of shoes with 30% reduction.

Looks like the two ladies are in style.

I just began a new site about Japan in the early 1950s when we were there. You can get to it from my Brookville daily photo blog. Times have changed a lot there too over the 50-plus years since we were there.

Were there a lot more women standing behind you? At least you found 2 pairs. :-)

THe only time I lined up to for a sale was for concert tickets several years ago.

Abraham - Yup, there were some stylish girls. I'll visit your new site soon. I'm looking forward to seeing your old photos.

Dick - Maybe when I visit Texel, you can see them.;)

BW - I think it was half and half. Many guys are very interested in fashion too.

Rashd - There are big sales in department stores twice a year, but it is not so grand as ones in other countries.

Dalicia - I think I will enjoy my shoes though the other pairs have very high and narrow hills. Thank you!

KMF - I haven't worn them yet but they already look good.

You know, after a few years living here, I realized that "sales" do not mean a thing here. It's always on sales. There is always one somewhere. So I do not pay much attention anymore. But hey, if I am buying shoes and need an excuse, I do like to say "but I bought it in sales and it was 30% off". we need a pictures of those babies!

Is there a place where a young woman can find larger size clothes in Seoul...my daughter lives there and is average size in Canda but very hard to fit in Korea...please help

Eliane - You're right. Sine sales occur very common, almost all through a year, we get confused if the original prices mean anything. I put on one pair of shoes last night and it was a bit pain to adjust my feet to those new. I'll take a photo of them someday.

TP - Right, and I think I love them more than an average.

Anon - I'm aware of some Western girls' struggling with finding the right size for them. Your daughter may try in Itaewon, a foreign quarter in Seoul. But, I'll ask an Irish friend of mine here if she knew any shops that could fit her. You can also email me if you need further help.
