Sujeong & Kevin's Wedding

As I said about a week ago, today I went to my friends' wedding and the ceremony was held in Korean traditional way. The couple looked so lovely that everyone was amazed by them, and the ceremony was fantastic indeed. I've been thinking that I'd also like my wedding to be this way, and today I made a firm decision to have the traditional wedding. I'll try to post more pictures from the wedding someday.

wow what looks really beautiful. We here in Holland don't have a special traditional wedding. It's just getting more personal the weddings. You can marry everywhere you like and in every setting you like.

A firm decision! I'm impressed ... Here the expense of wedding ceremonies has gotten out of control. I was pleased when my youngest daughter recently said that instead of a large wedding she wanted to take the money and use it as a down payment on a home. Then have a small wedding in the backyard ... But in the long run I know here firm decision will come back to a big wedding given this such a special day for the bride.

Nice photo!

The clothing is quite colorful, and yes (as others mentioned) expensive. Most ethnic traditional weddings are quite beautiful.

Did this couple also wear the western tuxedo & gown later?

I agree with you. We don't lose our tradition. We must keep them alive. This is the only way to perpetuate our culture.

i met a long lost friend the other day, and found out that he is getting married in Korea!

Going thru the traditional wedding because the bride is Korean. Now I get a glimpse of how it will look! Thanks!
