Thirst

Again the weather was too hot and, without anything to drink, it was difficult to walk and stand on streets, or evn take a step. All these disposable cups were supposed to be put in a dustbin but I couldn't see anything nearby.

Imagine the amount of plastic in the landfill from these bottles.

I read that California and Canada are trying to switch to disposable plastics made of corn silk in the next couple years or so.

Interesting selection of beverages ... there were many thirsty people.

Maybe everybody would like to complete this piece of art.

Ming - That IS great news. I hope the start will spread to everywhere, even to this allied country belonging to APEC.

BW - Those are Fanta, canned coffee, fresh fruits juice, Pocari Sweat (a kind of Gatorade), fatigue relief, Soomthie King etc. I'd initially would like to have a smoothie, but there was no seat in the shop.

Dick - I wondered who did it first. Once somebody begins, it doesn't take too long for the line to be filled.

There wasn't any bins around? hehe.. or is it a trend to leave them there.

Wondering, what's the weather there like now?

KM - You know that Seoul is not like Singapore. Apparently, there was no bin nearby. Until last Sunday, it was so hot and humid which is quite similar to SG's weather. But, the degree has decreased a bit due to some rain yesterday. But, still around 31 degrees at highest.
