1st July Theme Day: The Color Red

This the first theme day I participate. When I found this month's theme, two things came across my mind and this is one of them. This is kimchi, Korea's best known food. Last year I was involved in a full process of making kimchi (I just helped my mom and grandma;)) and realised how amazing kimchi is. I will write about kimchi in my personal blog someday.

You are very welcome to discover red in other cities.

My brother in law was in Korea after the Korean war and said Kimchi was made with spoled cabbage or something like that. He said it was good to eat but smelled bad.

I don't know. I never saw it before and never smelled it.

I like your photograph of this popular dish. It is very nice.

Well, you have kimchi enthusiasts here, but I'll take their word for it since I've never eaten it. Good choice since it represents something imp. to you.

So appropriate for Seoul Daily Photo.

I love kimchi but I actually like the radish kimchi.

Wow, honestly I didn't expect these many responses. This is why more and more people get addicted to CDPB.^-^ (Korean smiling emoticon)
Thank you all for your comments and I WILL write about kimchi soon. Like Gerald guessed the salted cabbage is main but there are a number of other ingredients with it.
